How paying works
One account, two separate plans: a DJ plan covers you as a performer, and a venue plan covers your room. They move independently, and Venue Lite and above include Performer-level DJ features for your own screens. How the two plans work.
The beta, while it runs
Hype Display is in free beta: every account gets the full product — the DJ, venue and promoter sides alike — free until November 2, 2026. Two exceptions: custom handles come with any paid plan, and the watermark stays until you subscribe. Checkout stays open, and nothing you build goes away when the beta ends. About the beta.
What you get on day one
Every new account starts with 14 days of Performer, our top DJ plan — no card, nothing to claim. It applies to your DJ plan only. About the trial.
The mark on a free screen
A trial never removes the Hype Display watermark, whatever plan it gives you. Only a paid plan does. Why.
The name that owns your web addresses
Your DJ, venue and promoter handles are separate names, and each one owns its own web addresses. Claiming one comes with any paid plan; without one, your public profile, directory listing and QR code all still work from permanent addresses of their own — the handle only puts your name in the address. If you pay less, or stop
Moving to a smaller plan never deletes anything. The features you lose go quiet, your settings stay exactly where they are, and they come back the moment you upgrade again. Changing plans.
